About Giving

People are happy when they receive gifts. But, there are some people that also happy when they give gift to other perople, especially to people that they love, much. Yup, they’re happier when they give gifts.  ‘Giving is better than receiving’ ? Sometimes, I agree with this statement. When you give, you see people are happy. They’re smile and it’s because of you. How happy you are when you see other people because of you, don’t you?

One day, i read comic, Hai Miiko from Ono Eriko (haha is till love comic!) and i found this good quote from Yuko;

“Receiving gift makes you happy, but giving gift makes you happier.”

Yup! You can give them some gifts in their birthday. You can give them in another day -not just in birthday- like anniversary day, when in their special moment (like in their graduate etc), even you can give them in ordinary day. When you give them in ordinary day you make them happy, then you make their day special.

When you wanna to give gift to someone, don’t too get bothered and confused of what you wanna give to them. Because, actually what you give to them is not too important ( i say is not too, not ‘not’, haha). It depends on your intention, giving shows how you care to someone.

When i’m in my birthday, i’m so happy when i get some gifts. It means people who give me gifts are love me. Because of that, I love giving gift to people i love! So, i want to make them happy because of me too. And also you have to make people you love happy too! Like your parrents, your bestfriend, your boyfriend or girlfriend, and many more.

It musn’t something expensive, a postcard to your far-far-awat bestfriends can make them smile all day long. You can give your bestfriend a simple do-it-yourself birthday pop up card like this.

Yup! You don’t need much money to make people arround you happy. You just need a paper and some cute footages from your old magazines.

Hmm another example, if your boyfriend is an engineer-to-be-soon, you can give him an engineer helm (i mean safety helm haha) so you can increase their spirit in their college study. Or if he loves football, you can make a stuffed ball. You can make your own stuffed ball by buying flanel then stitching it according to to the pattern (you can find the pattern in internet).

Then we talk about bestfriend. If your bestfriend is a hijaber, you can give her a beautiful pashmina. You can make your own pashmina by buying a piece of fabric then sewing it to make it look neater. You also can give them a book. Amazing biography of someone, good novel, or even an inspiring book that can change their life.

We can conclude that giving is always a good idea! You don’t need much money to make people happy.
